Literature Review: Software problem for Internet

This “Ten Problems for Internet in the 2020s” booklet identifies ten relevant areas from very recent contributions put forward at academic level in the form journal articles, conference proceedings and students theses. Ten freely accessible internet references have been selected for each area and direct links are provided at the end of each chapter for own consultation. Our selected references do not intend to mirror ranking indexes nor establish novel classifications. On the contrary, they are meant to represent peer-reviewed, diverse and scientifically-sound case studies for vertical dissemination aimed at non-specialist readers. While being a very stable and currently standard Internet protocol, the limitations of IPv4 could limit the potential of Internet of Things devices. Industrial Internet-of-Things applications require real-time processing, near-by storage, ultra-low latency, reliability and high data rate, all of which can be satisfied by fog computing architecture. The continuous evolution of software systems brings associated risks, vulnerabilities, and threats to their security. The most important measure to diminish and nullify software piracy is developing positive public attitude and awareness towards the issue. Mind share is thought to be one of key characteristics of free/open software. The existing Internet service implementations achieve information transmission and sharing in a decentralized manner, but there has not been sufficient scrutiny and action in guaranteeing transactional trust and the exchange of wealth or value across the Internet. Human factors in software engineering are often ignored and are often not given equal attention compared to the technical factors. The Internet Accelerated Speed Era in China represents a new form of social productivity, which make full use of the Internet in the allocation of social resources and advantages and integration.
